The EUSA Water Polo Quarterfinal lineup is set!

The European Universities Water Polo Championship group stage has concluded in Vukovar, and the quarterfinal picture is now clear. After three days of fierce pool battles, seven teams remain in contention for the medals.
Group stage highlights

The University of Pécs left no doubt about their title ambitions during the group stage. Displaying a perfect blend of aggressive offense and structured defense, they easily swept all three of their group matches and finished with a staggering +48 goal difference—the best in the tournament so far.
They kicked off their campaign with a statement win against Hungarian University of Agriculture and Life Sciences, overpowering them 28:12. Their momentum carried into the second match, where they dismantled Ozyegin University 25:9 and in their final group stage match, they defeated University of Zagreb, the only Croatian team 21:5, sealing their place at the top of the group and sending a strong message to the rest of the field.
Despite the heavy loss to Pécs, the University of Zagreb recovered remarkably well. They already had two strong wins, which secured them the second spot in Group A and a well-earned place in the quarterfinals.

On the other hand, in group B, Hungarian strength was on full display. Budapest University of Technology and Economics proved themselves as Group B's powerhouse with two convincing victories. In their opening match, they dominated Eszterházy Károly Catholic University with a strong win, and their second match saw an even more dominant performance, this time against Özyeğin University. Meanwhile, Eszterházy Károly Catholic University bounced back from its opening loss and secured the second spot in the group. In a must-win match against Özyeğin, they stepped up with a composed performance.

Winners will play semifinals on July 12, while the losers will fight for the 5-7th place.
