Vukovar swimming pool complex: A world-class venue for the European universities water polo championship
The Plivalište Vukovar is a state-of-the-art facility designed to host a variety of aquatic sports and activities, making it the ideal venue for the European Universities Water Polo Championship. Strategically located in the heart of Vukovar, the complex combines modern architecture with high functionality to meet the needs of athletes and spectators alike.
The Olympic-sized indoor pool measure 50 x 25 meters, which adheres to international competition standards. This pool is accompanied by two outdoor pools:
● A recreational pool measuring 22 x 12 meters.
● An oval pool (25 x 15 meters) equipped with massage jets and a water slide, perfect for training and leisure.
The indoor pool is directly connected to locker rooms and provides easy access to the outdoor facilities, which include separate entrances, changing rooms, gym, sauna area and cafe.
